To one of the world’s leading platforms in the field of flexible & printed electronics, the Ushio team welcomes you to Messe München’s hall B0, booth 509, from 28 February to 2 March. Our experts will be on hand to discuss our latest technologies for surface pre-treatment and UV curing, and the enormous potential it holds for industrial production steps.
At LOPEC 2023, Ushio’s primary focus will be its range of excimer solutions: pre-treatment methods of thin surfaces in the context of printed electronics.
Excimer is a vacuum-ultraviolet (VUV) light source for surface activation and cleaning, and can be applied to a wide range of materials, such as glass, metals, or plastics. In contrast to other methods, excimer irradiation is particularly precise, uniform and gentle. This makes it especially suitable for sensitive surfaces, such as capacitive touch sensors, flexible printed circuits, stretchable sensors, lab-on-a-chip devices, smart labels etc.
Typical applications are found in a huge range of industries such as automotive, consumer electronics, medical & healthcare, scientific and many others.
A second focus will be on Ushio’s UV LED solutions, which are suitable for precise, fast curing of UV-drying inks, lacquers, and coatings. We present our new UV LED high power unit UniJet iIV series as well as the iC series, which generates a high radiation dose despite its compact size and is therefore ideally suited for many space-critical curing applications.
