We are proud to inform you that on 31 July 2016, the EU awarded Ushio Deutschland permission to be an AEO C company.
The Authorized Economic Operator C is an accreditation granted to businesses that satisfy strict customs criteria to demonstrate consistent quality, compliance and trustworthiness in the international supply chain.
AEO status is, in effect, a trademark for a company. It shows to our business partners that we are trusted by the authorities to meet a certain level of compliance with customs legislation, and that Ushio has appropriate record keeping standards and financial solvency.
Thanks to this newly-required AEO status, we are now able to make our current business more efficient. It also provides our company with a higher ranking as a reliable business partner compared to non-AEO authorized companies.
