Solar Simulation
UXW lamps are high-pressure xenon discharge lamps utilising water-cooled electrodes aned can be used e.g. in solar simulators. The solar simulators are used to heat artificial satellites and their component parts in a bacuum for the purpose of environmental testing. Such applications have expanded to the field of space research. They are available at input power ranging from 10kW to 30kW.
