USHIO DXL-70BA boosts projector to world record
Amsterdam, Dec 1st
An astonishing 43000lm, that’s the new world record in lumen output for a digital cinema projector. Today that was achieved in a BARCO DP2K-32B projector by using USHIO’s DXL-70BA lamp. This record is more than just a proof of the technical possible; it is meaningful for every theatre owner who wants to show DCI compliant 3D on large screen. The viewing experience of a 3D movie is only complete with vivid colors and the right brightness. For both efficient and stable lamps are required: USHIO’s DXL series, the most sold Xenon lamp for digital projectors.
Nils Büker, USHIO’s Sales Director for EMEA, states: “BARCO uses in many of their projectors USHIO lamps as they are convinced by the outstanding performance and reliability. We are especially pleased that BARCO also chose an USHIO for their successful world record attempt; a record that is another irrefutable proof for USHIO’s technological leadership.”
USHIO DXL lamps are available thru USHIO authorized cinema service companies/distributors.
