When USHIO was established in Japan in 1964, the light source was merely in its first stage to obtain industrial significance. USHIO has always been a leading specialist of lighting technology. In Europe, sales companies are located in The Netherlands, France, Germany and United Kingdom, and a production plant in Germany.
Through the century we are aiming to develop illumination- and energy- related applications for lighting technology. Our wide product range supports customer's needs in various fields.
Quality Assurance is one of our core strategies to provide customers with the best available service and support. USHIO Europe has a close contact with our QA department in Japan, which assures our products meet customers' requirement and consistent quality standard.
At the same time Ushio is pouring efforts into environmental conservation and effective resource utilisation. The company has incorporated the concepts of energy-efficiency, pollution-free and recycling into its production and R&D process. In 1997 the Company received ISO 14001 certification, an ISO's standard for environmental management systems.
